What is SPAR?

We joined MSC Sustainable Fishing and ASC for Responsible Fishing and Aquaculture Week 2025, which took place from February 3 to 16, 2025. This initiative aims to raise awareness among the general public and professionals about the importance of sustainable management of marine resources.

The NGOs MSC and ASC rely on robust and independent certification programs:

• MSC Sustainable Fishing promotes more sustainable fishing.
• ASC works for more responsible aquaculture.

Together, we can make a difference. Every action counts in preserving marine biodiversity!

What is the role of our fishermen?

Fishermen have a key role to play in preserving the oceans by adopting more sustainable fishing practices 🎣

Every company in the JMI Group, including Crusta C, is committed to promoting fishing activities that preserve marine resources and their environment:

• Leaving enough fish in the ocean to allow stocks to replenish.
• Minimizing their impact on habitats or other non-targeted or protected species.
• Having an effective and responsive management system in accordance with applicable laws.

How can you find our certified products?

You can make a positive impact by choosing seafood products sourced from sustainable fishing and responsible aquaculture. Our commitments

What's next? The JMI Group launched a carbon assessment a year ago to evaluate and reduce its environmental footprint. The results will be announced soon, along with concrete actions to strengthen our sustainable commitments.
